something neat i read today.....

One glance at the sun or the stars convinces us of God's infinite power. And even a brief inspection of any leaf on a tree, or of the wonder of the human hand, or any one living cell, convinces us of God's great wisdom. Who could make all of this? Who could make it out of nothing? Who could sustain it day after day for endless years? Such infinite power, such intricate skill, is completely beyond our comprehension. When we meditate on it, we give glory to God.   pg.130        -  (Wayne Grudem, Bible Doctrine)

somethings God has been teaching me.....

I am complete in Christ whether I feel it or not. Emotions are important, but should not be the determining influence in my life. I have everything I need in God. Everything I have is a result of God's grace, I don't deserve anything that I have but God out of his goodness has given me everything. Concerning the things I want and don't have.....I am pretty confident that God will give me whatever I ask for. If he doesn't, I will praise him still because he is good and has the best plan for my life.

Today was cool, woke up and got a ride to Apex with Lauren, Angela and Juliana. We took a different way than usual and got lost big time. It was fun tho. We saw this cop on the side of the road pull this guy over and get this HUGE shotgun out of the trunk of the police car. lol. I don't know what was going on. Then we sort of wound up in the ghetto and this guy asked us for the time and Lauren like hit the gas and that was funny. Yeah u like my awesome grammer skills. lol, anyways, we made it to Apex and got to hear like 10 minutes of the message and then we went to an Indian restrurant. It was real neat cause I had like no idea what i was eating and they had like this supy rice stuff that tasted like frootloops. Then we drove back to Cedarville, I studdied a little, went to Campus fellowship and had dinner with Nate and Melany, That was fun too. Now i gotta studdy for my Earth Science test tomorrow so..yeah, thats it.

Tonight some of the coolest people I know and I went down to downtown Dayton to share the gospel with people. It's the second time we've done it and its just really a crazy experience. I was scared cause it was dark and stuff and you never know how people are gonna react. The first time was better cause we actually got to talk to some people. Tonight was more walkin around and stuff. I tried to talk to this kid on a bike and he seemed nice. I think he was a Christian, he said he went to church a and stuff so that was cool. The second guy I talked to said he wasn't interested so Becca and I just moved on. We walked around a bit and prayed. I really enjoyed doing it. I hope next time I'll be able to be a better leader and not so afraid.

Wow, Ive been studying a lot. I have met so many people but i'm doing pretty well with learning everyones name. Today I woke up and ate breakfast at Chucks. I love breakfast, Ive become addicted to coffee and I've tried like every cream they got. Not sure how much weight i've gained cause there's like no scales around. Ive joined a Karate class, Im singing in the gospel choir, and Im thinkin of doin habitat for Humanity if i can fit it in somehow. We had a chapel speaker two days ago that was just awesome. One thing that stood out to me from his message is this... We all worship something. Human beings were created to worship. Its what we do best. If you look throughout all of history what do you see. Everyone is worshiping some kind of idol or god or animal or whatever. A lot of the time we like to worship ourselves. If you go to a concert what does it look like? If you want to find out what you worship, just look back on everything that you did during the day, or the week. Who were you thinking about? Who were you glorifying? What was distracting you throughout the day? We ought to live our lives worshiping Christ! Everything we say and do and think can be made into a form of worship to God. Just encouraging someone is like worshiping Christ, if you want it to be. What are we going to do in heaven?......Worship God. Its just what humans were meant to do. Just make sure your worshiping the one true God and not yourself or anything else.

anyways......I read my books for the rest of the day and thats pretty much it.

I miss you guys, I still wear my STUDENT IMPACT reminder band!..YEAH

Im sorry I havn't called anyone...my phone gets horrible service down here, and also im just too lazy and tired.

I love you guys.. cant wait to see you again and hang out. take care.............Adam
